The maisons closes were created by transforming semi-detached duplexes into two cottages with cloistered gardens.
The concept illustrates our attempt to create, within a densely populated urban neighbourhood, self-contained single-family dwellings featuring the kind of intimacy and privacy characteristic of the European-style villa.
